Chile’s Prieto promotes projects and infrastructure head partner

Chilean law firm Prieto has appointed Nicolás Yuraszeck as head partner of the firm’s projects and infrastructure practice. 

Nicolas Yuraszeck of Prieto AbogadosYuraszeck joins the corporate law team, focused on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, energy and natural resources infrastructure and construction projects, including EPC, BOO, turnkey and O&M contracts.

He studied law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, earning his law degree with two distinction votes in 2007. He also completed a master’s degree in tax administration and management at Universidad Adolfo Ibañez (2012-2013) and an MSc in law and finance at Queen Mary University of London in 2016.

He worked at CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang and during 2017 as a foreign lawyer at the capital markets group of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton’s London office, where he was involved in several capital markets and M&A transactions.
