Chilean Bofill Mir Abogados announces two new practice directors in environmental and labor law
Bofill Mir Abogados has boosted its Environmental and Labor Law practices with the appointment of two new directors, María Pilar Domínguez (pictured left) and Rafael Sandoval (pictured right), as part of its strategy to expand key areas in response to rising client demand and to recognize the trajectory of leading professionals.
The appointment of María Pilar Domínguez aims to reinforce the firm’s capabilities in environmental law at a time when environmental factors are increasingly critical to the viability, continuity, and reputation of projects and operations. It addresses broader environmental challenges across productive industries. These include water management, climate change, circular economy, traceability, and regulatory compliance in sectors such as energy, real estate, infrastructure, forestry, and agribusiness.
Meanwhile, Rafael Sandoval’s appointment as Director of the labor law practice responds to a steady increase in demand for legal services in this area. The firm seeks to support clients in navigating ongoing production challenges and implementing new requirements arising from increasingly complex labor legislation, including the 40-Hour Workweek Law, the Karin Law, and the Work-Family Balance Law.
Both appointments are effective as of May 2025. Bofill Mir Abogados sees these strategic moves as central to the firm’s growth and development plans.
