The multidisciplinary team includes professionals trained in corporate, international, and regulatory law, ensuring comprehensive legal support for businesses navigating today’s increasingly complex legal landscape.
This strategic enhancement responds to the growing demand from companies for high-standard compliance tools that align with both national and international frameworks. The firm’s objective is to offer comprehensive advisory services that ensure legal compliance while fostering a culture of integrity and transparency across all business operations.
Joaquín Palma holds an LL.M. in Constitutional Law from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and an LL.M. from Columbia University. He is a member of the New York State Bar and several federal courts in the Second Circuit of the United States. His experience includes representing clients before the Ministry of Education, Chile’s Comptroller General, the Transparency Council, the Constitutional Court, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), among others.
Palma’s compliance practice will prioritize crime prevention and regulatory compliance in line with key legislation such as Chile’s Economic and Environmental Crimes Law (No. 21.595), the Corporate Criminal Liability Law (No. 20.393), and recent labor laws.
Palma’s Public, regulatory & antitrust practice will offer representation in administrative litigation, public law nullities, state liability cases, proceedings before the Comptroller General, public procurement, internal investigations, and antitrust matters. The goal is to ensure businesses operate within a secure and transparent legal framework that meets both national and international standards for quality and fair competition.
