Cleary counsels MEXCAT on tender offers to acquire $993m
Cleary Gottlieb has counselled Fideicomiso del Aeropuerto de la Ciudad de México (MEXCAT) on MEXCAT’s tender offers to acquire for cash up to USD $993 million of its notes issued in the international markets.
Barclays Capital Inc. and Santander US Capital Markets LLC acted as dealer managers.
The transaction was launched on 6 November 2023, expired on 5 December 2023 and settled on 8 December 2023.
The deal will reduce MEXCAT’s total indebtedness by approximately USD 480 million, from approximately USD 4.2 billion to approximately USD 3.7 billion.
