Cleary counsels on $200m revolving loan to Aeroméxico

Cleary Gottlieb has counselled BBVA Mexico as lead arranger and initial lender, and ING Bank, Bladex, Banamex, JPMorgan Chase Bank and Morgan Stanley as initial lenders, on a $200 million senior secured revolving credit facility provided to Grupo Aeroméxico.

Grupo Aeroméxico intends to use the loan proceeds for general corporate purposes. The facility became effective on August 26.

Grupo Aeroméxico is Mexico’s flag carrier and a leader in Latin American aviation. Grupo Aeroméxico is a founding member of the SkyTeam alliance along with Delta Air Lines, Air France and Korean Air and is the only Mexican airline with a global alliance.
