Unifin Financiera is a Mexico-based leasing company which operates as a non-banking financial services organisation. It focuses on leasing, financial factoring and auto loans and other lending.
The initial purchasers in the transaction are Barclays Capital, Citigroup Global Markets, Morgan Stanley and Scotia Capital (USA).
The offering consisted of $250 million 8.875% subordinated perpetual notes issued by Unifin, and was conducted as a private placement under Rule 144A of the Securities Act of 1933 and outside of the United States in reliance on Regulation S.
The company will use the proceeds of the offering for general corporate purposes.
