Cleary Gottlieb represents on US$500 million notes issuance by TGS
Cleary Gottlieb has advised the initial purchasers, including BBVA Securities, Citigroup Global Markets, Deutsche Bank Securities, J.P. Morgan Securities, and Balanz Capital UK, in a Rule 144A/Regulation S offering by Transportadora de Gas del Sur (TGS) of $500 million of TGS’s 7.75% senior notes due 2035.
The transaction was launched on November 10, priced on November 13, and is scheduled to close on November 20. The notes are expected to be listed on both BYMA and A3 Mercados.
TGS is Argentina’s leading natural gas transporter and operates the longest pipeline network in Latin America. Its business also spans natural gas processing, liquid products marketing, and telecommunications services via a subsidiary.
