Cleary represents IDESA in short-form tender offer
Cleary Gottlieb has represented Grupo IDESA in a short-form cash tender offer for its 6.500% senior notes due 2028.
The offer was launched on 24 July 2024, expired on 30 July 2024 and settled on 5 August 2024.
Grupo IDESA has more than 65 years of experience in the petrochemical industry in Mexico and produces compounds used to manufacture a vast range of products, including food and beverage packaging, clothing and footwear, construction materials, automotive industry liquids, and toys. Grupo IDESA is also the holder of a 25% stake in Braskem-IDESA, a joint venture with Braskem, which operates one of the largest ethylene crackers in Latin America.
