Cleary represents Mexico in $4bn bond offering

Cleary Gottlieb has represented the United Mexican States (Mexico) in a registered offering of USD $1,250,000,000 principal amount of its 5.400% Global Notes due 2028 and USD $2,750,000,000 principal amount of its 6.350% Global Notes due 2035.

The offering was launched and priced on 3 January 2023, and is expected to close on 9 January 2023.

The funds will be used by the country for general funding purposes.

BBVA Securities, BNP Paribas Securities, BofA Securities and J.P. Morgan Securities acted as underwriters.

Cleary has previously represented Mexico, as issuer, in numerous securities transactions for over 30 years.
