Cleary represents Mexico in €800m deal
Cleary Gottlieb has counselled the Mexican Republic on a 800 million euro bid
Cleary Gottlieb, through its team in New York, has represented the United Mexican States (Mexico) in a registered offering of €800 million principal amount of its 2.375% global bonds due 2030. The offering was launched and priced on 7 February 2022 and closed on 11 February 2022.
In the transaction, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, Credit Suisse International, Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch and Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc acted as underwriters for the offering.
The proceeds of the offering will be used by the republic to pay part or all of the redemption price of the euro-denominated global bonds maturing in 2024 and for its general financing purposes.
