Clifford Chance assists FDN in financing green infrastructure projects

Clifford Chance, through its Latin America team in Washington, DC, has assisted Financiera de Desarrollo Nacional (FDN), as borrower, in a $1 trillion Colombian peso (US$238 million) loan.

The loan was provided by BBVA and backed by the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), a member of the World Bank Group.

The funds will be used to finance green infrastructure and road projects in Colombia, including 4G and 5G toll road projects.
