Clifford Chance counsels Lenus on financing hospital acquisition in Colombia

Clifford Chance has counselled Lenus Capital Partners (Lenus) on financing the acquisition of 100% of Hospital Medicadiz in Ibagué, Colombia.

Gramercy Funds Management structured and led the financing of the acquisition, with the participation of Compass Group.

Thanks to this acquisition, Lenus expands the number of beds it owns to 1,000, making it one of the largest healthcare operators in Colombia. This transaction is part of Lenus’ strategy to invest in the local healthcare sector through acquisitions and investments, and to improve healthcare in Colombia’s intermediate cities.
