CMT Advogados announces two new partners
Carvalho, Machado e Timm Advogados – CMT, announced two new partners: Daniel Elias do Nascimento (pictured left) and Lucas Monteiro de Souza (pictured right) are now partners in São Paulo.
The reinforcement of the partnership comes to strengthen CMT’s performance in Competition, Compliance and Regulatory Law – areas of expertise of Daniel – as well as in Agribusiness and Financial and Capital Markets, sectors in which Lucas is specialized.
Daniel is a graduate from the University of São Paulo Law School in Ribeirão Preto (FDRP/USP), with a specialization in Contract Law and a master’s degree from the São Paulo School of Law of the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV-SP). He is also the author of the book Conditional Rebates and the Defense of Competition (Editora Singular/2022).
Lucas holds a Master’s in Law of International Economic Relations from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP), and is the coordinator of the collective works Agribusiness Law: theory and practice and Agribusiness Law, Sustainability and Foreign Trade, both published by LTr Editora. In parallel with his law practice and teaching, he acts as an independent board member.
