Consortium advised Banco Agromercantil de Guatemala on $44 million loan

Banco Agromercantil de Guatemala have retained Consortium Legal in Nicaragua as counsel in a $44 million syndicated loan to an agribusiness organization. 

The borrowers, San José S.A. and Extraceites S.A, operate in the agribusiness sector. San Jose manages over 5,000 hectares of African Palm and its affiliate Extraceites started operations in order to extract its oil process it and sell it.

Proceeds of the loan will be used to restructure several lines of credit to finance their operations in Nicaragua.
