CQS/FV announces partner who brings Environmental Law and ESG to the firm
Cesnik, Quintino, Salinas, Fittipaldi e Valério Advogados has announced new partner Pedro Baracui who brings Environmental Law and ESG to the firm’s portfolio
Cesnik, Quintino, Salinas, Fittipaldi e Valério Advogados announced the arrival of Pedro Baracui (pictured) as a new partner. With his arrival, CQS/FV will start providing legal advice on environmental and sustainability issues, both preventively and litigiously.
Baracui is specialized in Environmental Law at the Sorbonne (France) and in Sustainability Management at Columbia-NY (USA), having worked in large third sector organizations and law firms.
The new partner has extensive experience in Environmental Law, providing advice on topics such as environmental permitting, compliance and risk analysis, conservation units, and forest law. Before becoming a lawyer, he worked in several organizations, such as the UN’s IFAD and Transparência Brasil.
In charge of environmental law areas, Pedro worked for the law firms BMA and Marchini Advogados, and directed the sustainability area of CSN. Recently, he started to integrate his experience in the ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) agenda of companies.
