Cuatrecasas assists CMPC in acquisition of Ingelam’s assets
Cuatrecasas, through its Santiago de Chile office, has assisted Empresas CMPC in the acquisition, by its subsidiary Niuform, of the assets of Ingelam, a company specializing in the design, manufacture and assembly of glulam.
The transaction involved, among other things, the transfer of intellectual property assets, machinery and projects, which will enable Niuform to continue to strengthen its position in the national and regional market for wood construction solutions.
Cuatrecasas’ team was led by partner Macarena Ravinet (pictured left), together with partner Rodrigo Stein (pictured right), and associates Pilar Illanes, Isidora Opazo and Josefa Redon.
