Cuatrecasas assists UPI in refinancing Pacífico 2 road project

Cuatrecasas, through its team in Bogotá, has assisted Unión Para la Infraestructura (UPI), an investment and fund manager for infrastructure development, in the refinancing of the Concesión La Pintada and Fideicomiso La Pintada for the development of the Autopista Conexión Pacífico 2 project.

This mega-project complements the Pacifico 1 and 3 projects, with the aim of making Colombia’s connectivity more dynamic and shortening distances from the centre of the country to the southwest. It is also part of Concesiones Viales de Cuarta Generación or 4G, one of the most important road infrastructure programmes at the national level, as it links important production centres from south to north.

Autopista Conexión Pacífico 2 is one of the first roads belonging to the 4G program to enter the Operation and Maintenance Stage in Colombia.

Cuatrecasas’ team included partners Manuel Quinche (pictured right) and Juan Carlos Puentes (pictured left), associates Angie Gómez, María Paula Cortés and intern Lorenzo Lizarralde.
