Cuatrecasas counsels BTG Pactual on Palermo refinancing
Cuatrecasas, through its Bogotá office, has counselled Banco BTG Pactual Colombia and Banco BTG Pactual (Cayman Branch) on the refinancing granted to Palermo Sociedad Portuaria for up to COP $110,536,205,000.
The funds will be used for the prepayment of a bond issue made in the second Colombian market. The operation, which was made under a more flexible financing scheme, is key for Palermo Sociedad Portuaria, as it will allow it to continue developing the port infrastructure it currently operates.
The resources allocated to the prepayment of the debt have a positive impact on the development of the Puerto Palermo project and ratify the commitment of Banco BTG Pactual Colombia to infrastructure projects in the country.
