Cuatrecasas in financing for Concesionaria Nueva Fiscalía for new Cali headquarters

Cuatrecasas, through its Bogotá office, has advised Banco de Bogotá and Banco de Occidente on the financing granted to Concesionaria Nueva Fiscalía for the construction, operation and maintenance of the new headquarters of the General Prosecutor’s Office in the city of Cali.

The work consists of a 14-storey building that will centralise the entire operation of the General Prosecutor’s Office in Cali, representing an investment in improving the state’s capacity for security, reaction and justice, which, in turn, translates into development and progress for the city.

“This is one of the first social infrastructure operations financed through the project finance scheme. It is undoubtedly a reflection of the importance that this type of transaction will have going forward in the country, considering the specific focus on infrastructure that the sector seems to be turning to, according to the current context,” said Juan Carlos Puentes, lead partner of the transaction.
