FHipo is a unique vehicle investing in Mexican mortgages. Its portfolio consists of co-participation interests in mortgage loans originated by Infonavit, a Mexican federal government entity and one of the largest mortgage lenders in Latin America.
The $170 million follow-on offering consisted on a public offering in Mexico and an international offering in the US and other countries. The transaction marks the first international equity issuance by a Mexican company in 2016.
