DaVita engages Demarest for Brazilian clinics acquisitions

Demarest Advogados has acted for DaVita Brasil Participações e Serviços de Nefrologia, the Brazilian subsidiary of DaVita Inc., a Fortune 500 company, on the acquisition of two hemodialysis clinics.



Guilherme Vieira da Silva of DemarestThe two clinics are Nefromed Assistência Médica and SOS Intensimed Assistência Médica Ltda., focused on acute and chronic hemodialysis, respectively. The value of the transaction was not disclosed.


Demarest’s team was led by partner Guilherme Vieira da Silva (pictured), with Beatriz Neiva, Luis Eduardo Ribeiro, Renato Canizares, Marcus Brumano and Carlo Verona.
