De Vivo, Castro announces a new partner in infrastructure practice
De Vivo, Castro, Cunha e Whitaker Advogados announced the arrival of Renato de Menezes Pires (pictured) as a new partner at the firm. The lawyer will be responsible for creating and developing the infrastructure area, as well as further strengthening the firm’s position in Corporate Law.
With a solid legal background and accumulated experience in leadership positions, Renato has a degree in Law from Mackenzie Presbyterian University, a specialization in Business Law from PUC-SP and further training in Accounting Applied to Law from FGV. He is currently specializing in Tax Law, also at Mackenzie.
Having worked for major business groups such as Intercement, GRU Airport, Camargo Corrêa and AB Concessões, where he served as Chief Legal, Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Officer, Pires has vast experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and conducting highly complex projects in the corporate, contractual, tax, regulatory, corporate governance and compliance areas.
The lawyer has also worked on structuring financial operations, IPOs, debenture issues, large concession contracts and relationships with regulatory bodies.
