Demarest advise Baycap on the structuring of IORQ

Demarest advised the partners of Baycap Gestão de Recursos on the structuring of IORQ, a white-label credit platform designed to broaden access to financing for Brazilian companies by leveraging technology to deliver more cost-efficient solutions.

The transaction included a BRL 35 million funding round led by venture capital firms Monashees and Upload Ventures, with additional participation from ONEVC and Norte.

As part of the deal, the group also acquired Quatá Investimentos, an asset management firm with over 16 years of experience in corporate credit, having originated more than R$ 15 billion through instruments such as FIDCs.
