Demarest advise Givaudan on the acquisition of shares Vollmens

Demarest advised Givaudan on the acquisition of 51% of the share capital of Vollmens Fragrances, a company that develops and produces fragrances for cosmetics and perfumes.

The transaction value was not disclosed.

The acquisition of a majority stake, i.e. more than 50% of the Brazilian company’s shares, gives Givaudan control over Vollmens and access to new creative platforms in Brazil, considered one of the most sophisticated markets in the world in terms of the sensory demands of perfumes.

The operation is part of Givaudan’s strategy to get closer to the end consumer in different regions, with a focus on personalization and fragrance innovation.
