Demarest advise on the sale of Pace International to AgroFresh
Demarest advised Valent BioSciences LLC, Sumitomo Chemical Co. and Sumitomo Chemical Brasil, as co-counsel alongside with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, on the negotiation, signing and closing of the Brazilian leg of an Equity Purchase Agreement for the sale of Pace International LLC, including its domestic and overseas operations, to the AgroFresh Group.
Pace is a respected global provider of sustainable post-harvest solutions, equipment and technical services, manufacturing and supplying edible fruit coatings, fungicides, cleaners and sanitizers, sustainable storage treatments and application equipment for fresh produce.
