Demarest advises Deutsche Post DHL on Hillebrand acquisition agreement

Demarest Advogados advised Deutsche Post DHL Group (DPDHL) on the execution of a purchase agreement to acquire up to 100% of J.F. Hillebrand Group AG

Demarest Advogados advised Deutsche Post DHL Group (DPDHL) on the execution of a purchase agreement to acquire up to 100% of J.F. Hillebrand Group AG and its subsidiaries for an equity value of approximately EUR 1.5 billion.

The transaction is still subject to regulatory approval in certain jurisdictions. Such clearances are expected in the coming months.

Hillebrand is a global service provider specializing in ocean freight, transportation and logistics of beverages, non-hazardous bulk liquids and other products requiring special care.

Hillebrand generated revenues of approximately €1.4 billion in the last twelve months, will ship c.500,000 TEUs in 2021, and has more than 2,700 employees worldwide.
