Demarest advises on land sale for new São Paulo airport

Brazilian law firm Demarest has advised local holding company Companhia Melhoramentos de São Paulo on its sale of a plot of land to CCR to build the new São Paulo airport.

Marc Stalder of DemarestCompanhia Melhoramentos de São Paulo is a Brazil-based holding company engaged in publishing, paper, forestry, fibres and private equity.

Created in 1999, Grupo CCR is one of the biggest infrastructure companies in Latin America. 

The transaction was valued at $72.9 million. 

Demarest’s team was led by partners Marc Stalder (pictured) and Thiago Augusto Lopes.
