Demarest advises on negotiation of Niquelândia to Wave Nickel
Demarest advised Companhia Brasileira de Alumínio (CBA) on the negotiation and execution of the share purchase and sale agreement of the Niquelândia Unit, located in Goiás (GO), to Wave Nickel Brasil, which is controlled by the global technology company New Wave, in the total amount of BRL 20 million.
Closing of the transaction is conditioned to the fulfilment of conditions precedent and standard obligations to this type of transaction, including approval by the Brazilian Antitrust Authority – CADE and the National Electric Energy Agency – ANEEL.
