Demarest Advogados acted as deal counsel in assembling a financial structure in favor of Ford’s commercial activities in Brazil

Demarest acted as deal counsel, advising Banco Ford S.A., Ford Motor Company Brasil Ltda., Banco Bradesco BBI S.A. and BEM Distribuidora de Títulos e Valores Mobiliários Ltda., in the assembly of a financial structure dedicated to maintaining credit facilities in favor of the commercial activities of Ford dealerships in Brazil, creating a securitization mechanism of receivables related to vehicle inventories.

This structure included, among others, the creation of a credit assignment and securitization for Ford Montadora and Banco Ford; the incorporation of a receivables investment fund called FIDC Auto-Ford (as an open-end FIDC); and the legal advisory services for the public offering of FIDC quotas, totaling an initial amount of BRL 550 million.
