Demarest Advogados assists BMYE Participações in debentures issue

Demarest Advogados assisted BMYE Participações S.A. in issuing debentures in the amount of R$ 200 million

Demarest Advogados advised the first issuance of simple debentures, not convertible into shares, in a single series, chirography type, with additional fiduciary guarantee, for public distribution with restricted distribution efforts, of BMYE Participações S.A.

The issue had Banco Votorantim S.A. as lead coordinator and raised 200 million reais.

The funds raised were used to acquire 100% of the shares of Brapa Participações Ltda.
