Demarest announces new partner for the Energy practice area
Demarest Advogados has announced Rosi Costa Barros as a new partner. She has vast professional experience, international recognition and solid expertise in the energy area
Demarest announced Rosi Costa Barros (pictured) as its new partner of the Energy practice area. Rosi has been working for more than 20 years in the Electric Power sector, in all its segments.
She holds a degree in Law from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, a LL.M. in Corporate Law from IBMEC Business School and an MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas.
Before joining Demarest, Rosi was a partner at Neiva, Barros & Figueiró Advogados and a founding partner at Soares, Bumachar, Chagas e Barros Advogados. Rosi is also an Institutional Director and founding member of the Brazilian Institute for Studies in Energy Law (IBDE) and, since 2011, has been nominated by Chambers Latin America and Chambers Global as a leading professional in the area of “Energy & Natural Resources: Power”.
