Demarest hires new partner in the labor and employment area
Stella Castro is the latest lawyer to be hired as partner in the labor and employment practice area of Demarest. With her arrival, the team’s practice now boasts six partners and a total of 24 lawyers.
Stella holds a degree in Law from UERJ (University of the State of Rio de Janeiro) and a postgraduate degree in Business Law with a focus on Labor Law from FGV (Fundação Getúlio Vargas).
With 18 years of experience in the area, Stella has worked in large Brazilian firms and is considered one of the most admired lawyers in the country by local legal directory and magazine Análise Advocacia. Stella has worked in notable cases and collective bargaining matters across a wide variety of sectors of the economy – such as mining, banking, energy, technology and food, with a focus on labor litigation –, in addition to cases for executives of large companies.
