Demarest promotes two to the partnership
Demarest Advogados announced the appointment of two new partners: Maria Helena Ortiz Bragaglia and Gonçalo Godinho.
Bragaglia joined the firm in 2001, havig graduated in law from Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas School of Law in 1995 and obtained a Specialization in Civil Procedure from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC/SP) School of Law in 2011. She focuses on on civil litigation and arbitration.
Gonçalo Godinho joined Demarest in 2014 after 3 years at Vale in an in-house role. Prior to Vale, he worked at Cuatrecasas and Cardigos & Associados in Lisbon. Godinho graduated from Universidade de Lisboa School of Law in 1999 and obtained his LLM from Duke University. He was also an international associate at Simpson Thacher in London and New York. Godinho focuses on M&A and private equity.
