Dentons advises Aris Mining on GCM merger
Dentons Cárdenas & Cárdenas has advised Aris Gold Corporation in its merger process with GCM Mining Corp.
As a result of the transaction, Aris Gold Corporation changed its name and will now be known as Aris Mining Corporation, consolidating its position as one of the largest gold and silver mining companies in Colombia and South America.
The transaction included the direct and indirect acquisition by GCM of all outstanding shares of Aris Gold that it does not currently own.
The company will have significant free cash flow and a strong financial position to pursue long-term mining projects; a significant gold reserve of around 3.8 million ounces; and synergies represented in experienced project development and mine construction teams.
