Dentons lands in El Salvador

Dentons, the polycentric global law firm, announced it has launched an office in San Salvador with the integration of a local team.

The new outpost is home to six lawyers, including partners Fabio Molina, Luis Samour and Benjamin Rodríguez. All lawyers joined from Rodriguez Molina Abogados, which Dentons bolted on.

This latest addition is part of Dentons Muñoz Central America, which in 2016 launched in Costa Rica and Panama and expanded to Guatemala shortly afterwards.

The legal behemoth arrived in Latin America in 2015 with a double merger, in Colombia and Mexico.  During 2017 the firm built up muscle in the region with hires in Panama and Colombia, a new office in Monterrey (Mexico) as well as alliances in Brazil and Peru.

With 8,800 lawyers, Dentons is reportedly the largest law firm in the world by headcount.
