Dentons launches Venture technology centre in Mexico City

Dentons López Velarde has announced the opening of a new Venture Technology Centre in the Lomas de Chapultepec area of Mexico City.

The area is a strategic location for the new centre, as it has become the epicentre of Latin America’s leading technology companies in recent years.

The office will be led by Sergio Legorreta (pictured), a partner who joined the firm in 2019 and has experience in technology, communications, media, intellectual property and life sciences. In his practice, he has provided legal advice to companies in the technology, social media, Fintech and crypto-assets sectors. He also advises entrepreneurs and start-ups with leading incubators, accelerators and venture capital funds.
