Dentons Paz Horowitz appoints new partners
Dentons Paz Horowitz has announced the promotion of Agustín Acosta Cárdenas (pictured top) as managing partner of the office, by unanimous decision of all partners of the firm.
Agustín has more than 14 years of experience in the areas of Corporate Law, Acquisitions, Compliance and Anti-Corruption, Regulatory Law and International Arbitration. He holds two international master’s degrees, one from New York University in International Commercial Law and International Arbitration, and the second from the University of St. Thomas in Organizational Ethics and Compliance. During his professional career, Agustin worked as an Associate at Shearman & Sterling in the Washington DC and Paris offices.
In addition to this appointment, the following have been promoted to partner: Leyre Suárez (pictured bottom left) in the area of Litigation and Dispute Resolution; Gabriel Santelices (pictured bottom centre) in Data Privacy, TMT and Insurance; and María del Mar Heredia (pictured bottom right) in the Mergers and Acquisitions, Natural Resources and Corporate Law practices.
