Dias Carneiro advises on the acquisition of Agric by Energisa Biogás

Dias Carneiro Advogados advises on the acquisition by the subsidiary of Energisa, Energisa Biogás, through a purchase and sale agreement and subscription of shares, of 83.33% of the capital stock of Agric Adubos e Gestão de Resíduos Industriais e Comerciais, an industrial organic waste composting company for producing biofertilizer located in Santa Catarina.

With this acquisition, the Group Energisa will enter the sector of production and sale of renewable natural gas. The capital contributed into the composting company will be used for investments in improving the composting system and a new project for producing biogas and biomethane.

Dias Carneiro advised Energisa Biogás and Energisa and relied on partner Paula Seabra Carvalho Reis (pictured), associates Max Ide Hasimoto and Wagner Galdino dos Santos.
