Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable Joint Stock Limited Company (YOFC) has acquired 100% of Belden Poliron Indústria de Cabos Especiais Ltda. (Poliron), a former wholly owned subsidiary of Belden Inc. in Brazil. Following the transaction, Poliron became a wholly owned subsidiary of YOFC.
Poliron’s main facilities are in São Paulo, Brazil. Poliron is a prestigious local brand in Brazil and Latin America and has been active in Brazil since 1940. Poliron is highly recognized by customers in the region and its business and services cover special cables used in petrochemical and chemical industries, offshore oil facilities, and other industrial and building automation systems, as well as its cabling solutions.
