Dias Carneiro Advogados strengthens corporate, mergers and acquisitions area with the arrival of a new partner, ex-Gerdau and Ultrapar, André B. Areno (pictured).
He has an extensive professional background, which includes managing the legal departments of large publicly traded companies, such as Gerdau and Ultrapar, where he served as head for 12 years.
His time at these companies and other challenges throughout his career have given him extensive expertise in M&A, financing, commercial contracts, corporate law, listed companies and corporate governance.
The lawyer will collaborate on challenging projects in a team that already has strong professionals and works on a wide variety of transactions, supporting both domestic and foreign companies. The corporate, mergers and acquisitions area is responsible both for actions more focused on the day-to-day legal issues of the company, in corporate law, and for M&A processes, with a relevant role in negotiation, seeking alternative structures favorable to the client.
