Dias Carneiro Advogados has announced a new Private Wealth Services department and the hiring of partner Vanessa Scuro (pictured) to lead its efforts in the field. The new partner will be accompanied by associate Júlia Abe Quagliato. Vanessa has experience includes 18 years working at one of the most respectable law firms in this particular area in Brazil.

Scuro has carved out a successful practice advising and assisting high net worth individuals and families on strategic decision-making process on marital and succession issues involving relevant financial matters. She acts as a business counselor and legacy management stewards, guiding clients through the many complex legal issues that can impact their assets and coordinating strategies for implementing business succession plans that reflect their long-term goals.

Vanessa also represents clients in court, defending their interests and implementing succession planning, including for non-residents, navigating well in family and successions courts.
