Diaz Reus opens Los Angeles office to serve LatAm clients

Miami-headquartered law firm Diaz, Reus & Targ has launched an office in Los Angeles that will focus on serving clients in the Mexico, Central America and Pacific Rim countries.

Partner Chad Purdie will relocate from Miami to head the new office, which will specialise in international business and sports and entertainment law.

The opening of the Los Angeles office follows the announcement of the firm’s alliance with Australian law firm Holman Webb.

Michael Diaz Jr., Diaz Reus global managing partner, said: “The firm has established clients in Mexico, Central America, and Asia that have invested vast resources on the West Coast. The office will give us more flexibility in serving them.

“We are always seeking global opportunities for our clients, and we’ve always taken a ‘boots on the ground’ approach for maintaining that edge. Having a presence in California is a logical move.”
