Different firms advise on new issue of YPF Luz Notes

Bruchou & Funes de Rioja and Simpson Thacher & Barlett have advised YPF Energía Eléctrica (YPF Luz), and Tanoira Cassagne Abogados together with A&O Shearman advised the arrangers and underwriters, in the international issuance of the Class XVIII Notes.

The Class XVIII Notes, denominated and payable in US dollars, at a fixed rate of 7.875%, were issued on 16 October, for a par value of USD $420,000,000 under the frequent issuer regime of the Comisión Nacional de Valores, and will mature on 16 October 2032.

YPF Luz will use the proceeds to redeem all of the outstanding Class II Notes.

The Notes will be listed on the Official List of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange for trading on the Euro MTF Market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange, on the Electronic Open Market and on Bolsas y Mercados Argentinos.

Jones Walker served as legal counsel to the trustee, co-registrar, paying agent and transfer agent.

Carlos Ariosa and José María Krasñansky acted as in-house counsel to YPF Luz.
