DLA Piper acts for Mexico’s Alsea in debt refinancing
DLA Piper has represented Alsea, a Mexico City-based operator of quick service restaurants, coffee shops and casual dining establishments in Latin America and Spain, and its subsidiaries in the renegotiation and refinancing of Alsea’s debt before Mexican and international banks.
The agreements reached with the financial institutions will allow Alsea to recover from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, which led the food chain to massively suspend its operations.
The DLA Piper team representing Alsea included partners Xavier Mangino (pictured) and Edgar Romo and associate Adolfo Obregon, all of whom are based in Mexico City.
