DLA Piper acts on refinance notes for Province of Chubut
DLA Piper Argentina has advised the Province of Chubut, situated in the Patagonia region, on the refinancing of its outstanding debt through the issuance of new sovereign notes. On May 18, the Province issued “TIDECH 2025” Notes totaling US$106,757,254, aimed at refinancing the previously issued “TIDECH 2024” Notes. The transaction represents a step toward Chubut’s ongoing efforts to optimize its debt profile and ensure financial sustainability.
The notes are secured with funds from the Federal Tax Co-participation Regime and are listed in Bolsas y Mercados Argentinos (BYMA) and A3 Mercados (A3).
The issuance took place in the context of the refinancing of the “TIDECH 2024” Notes through the exchange for new “TIDECH 2025” Notes subscribed by the Sustainability Guarantee Fund (FGS) of the National Administration of Social Security of the Argentine Republic (ANSES).
