DLA Piper Chile named Diego Peña as new partner
DLA Piper announced that Diego Peña (pictured), who has served as a senior associate in the regulatory and energy and natural resources practices of DLA Piper Chile since 2015, has been named a partner of the firm.
Peña advises local and foreign clients in various matters related to energy and natural resources, infrastructure and public works concessions, including the development of renewable energy projects and other energy transitions matters. He has significant experience advising developers, operators and private investors, engineering and construction companies, banks and financial institutions, and insurance companies in the numerous stages and aspects involved in energy and infrastructure projects developed in Chile and Latin America.
Peña studied law at the University of Chile and later obtained a master of laws degree at Northwestern University in Chicago. He also holds a certificate in business administration from IE Business School in Madrid, as well as a diploma in future electricity markets and their regulation from the School of Engineering of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
