DLA Piper MA appoints new director

DLA Piper Martínez Beltrán has appointed Ricardo Alarcón as director of new International Arbitration practice

 

Ricardo Alarcón, who will be based in the Bogotá office, has more than 10 years of experience in the international arbitration and public international law sectors and focuses his practice on both commercial and investor-state arbitration.

Prior to joining DLA Piper Martinez Beltran, Alarcon worked in the International Arbitration group at Shearman & Sterling LLP in Paris. He graduated in Law from the Universidad de Los Andes, with honors, and holds an LL.M. degree in International Legal Studies from New York University School of Law, where he attended as a Hugo Grotius Scholar.
