DMGSA announces former Revenue Secretary as new of counsel
DMGSA – Domingues Sociedade de Advogados has announced the arrival of a new of counsel. Julio Cesar Vieira Gomes (pictured), former special secretary of the Federal Revenue of Brazil, arrives to provide exclusive support to the tax team in the firm’s nationalization strategy and in the development of services and nationalization strategy and in the development of services and projects in the area.
Julio Cesar will work on activities related to tax transactions, litigation, administrative and judicial administrative and judicial litigation, advisory services, tax compliance and technical tax studies for defining business strategies.
He holds a doctorate and a master’s degree in Tax Law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), with credits from the University of London. He was president of the Chamber of the Administrative Council for Tax Appeals – CARF, as well as holding positions in government agencies.
