Echecopar appoints new managing partner
Estudio Echecopar member firm of Baker McKenzie International in Peru has elected Juan Carlos de los Heros as managing partner. He will lead the firm until 2024
Juan Carlos de los Heros (pictured) joined Estudio Echecopar member firm of Baker McKenzie International in 1997, focuses on the practice areas of Corporate Finance, Project Financing and Project Development.. Prior to joining the Firm, Juan Carlos was an international lawyer in the global project finance group of an American law firm. During his professional career, he has advised financial institutions acting as lenders, structures, agents and investment banks, as well as lending companies and sponsors from various sectors. He has also participated in various public-private partnerships (PPPs) and energy projects, including advising on public tenders, private initiatives, and the negotiation of PPP contracts and construction contracts.
De los Heros is replacing outgoing Pablo Berckholtz, who spent seven years in the role who will continue as a partner in the firm’s Banking and Finance practice.
