Echecopar counsels Coöperatieve Rabobank on $60m credit facility
Estudio Echecopar has assisted Coöperatieve Rabobank in a 60 million credit line in favour of Camposol S.A.
Estudio Echecopar, associated with Baker & McKenzie International, has counselled Coöperatieve Rabobank U.A. in connection with a $60 million US dollars revolving committed credit facility (RFC) granted to the Peruvian agro-industrial company Camposol S.A.
The proceeds will be used for working capital needs and other corporate uses. Disbursements under the RCF may be renewed or extended at maturity at the sole request of the borrower for additional 3-month periods. All obligations under the RCF are secured by a joint and several liability of Camposol Holding PLC and subject to the signing of the relevant documentation.
Camposol, founded in 1997, is a Peruvian agro-industrial company located in northern Peru. It is involved in the cultivation, processing and marketing of agricultural products such as avocados, asparagus, blueberries, grapes, mangoes, peppers, artichokes, mandarins and prawns, which are exported to Europe, the United States of America and Asia.
